Finally, some concrete steps towards a workplace that truly respects and protects everyone's rights and identities!

While I appreciate the intent for inclusivity, I'm concerned about the potential for these federal mandates to infringe on individual freedoms and the autonomy of private businesses.

It's about time our federal agencies stepped up to protect LGBTQ+ rights and privacy; these updates are a huge win for equality and respect in our society.

 @BurritosGaryProgressivefrom California commented…2wks2W

This is exactly the kind of progress we need, ensuring everyone is respected and protected, no matter who they are or whom they love.

Should healthcare coverage be inclusive of gender-affirming care, and how might this impact the rights and well-being of the transgender community?

 @9LZ2LBM from New Jersey answered…2wks2W

I disagree with this completely why should we protect them, I don´t care about any of this crap, there´s a lot of other important stuff in the world to worry about other then LGBTQ+ rights and gender rights

At the end of the day, everyone is still human no matter if they identify as male/female or part of the LGBTQ community. They are not bothering us so why do we feel the need to control what they get.

 @9LZH86L from Florida agreed…2wks2W

Let's look at Conflict theory for this one. If Marx is right, then the only reason we wouldn't affirm a transgender person's needs as valid would be because we want to maintain a superiority in our status quo. If you don't believe you are better than anyone else, the idea of your local neighbors getting sex changes shouldn't bother you.
The reality is, though--if I can't have an abortion, I'm not supporting transgender gender-affirming care being paid for by our government. It's a double-standard.

to be deadass lets stick to helping Men and Women, if someone thinks they are something other than that therapy could be introduced not life changing procedures to children no matter what they think they may be it is a sickness and my sympathy goes out to all of them, just be gay keep it simple i dont care, but when you want to disfigure your body there IS something wrong. If we are a community that allows people to be whoever they want to be there will always be extremists that will push boundaries/limits. As a society to have a structure is good because it keeps people in line but if it is asymmetrical as life is and moves with time we can only control what is in our lifetime for good or for worse.

Do you believe that protecting someone's choice of pronouns at work can lead to a more respectful and inclusive environment, or do you see potential challenges?

 @9LYWC9L from Texas answered…2wks2W

yes because its will create much more health environment for everyone and I mean everyone

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2wks2W

How would you feel if your workplace introduced similar guidelines to protect individual pronouns and bathroom access, and why?

 @9LYXTVSPeace and Freedom from Illinois answered…2wks2W

I don’t think I would care at all I think we should just let people be

 @9LYXCRX from Georgia answered…2wks2W

To be honest there is only two genders so you have a thing or you don't that simple.

 @9LZ8T84Republican from Pennsylvania disagreed…2wks2W

people should be able to do what they want. Somebody could identify as a Walmart bag and I would not care.

 @9LYXBBCIndependent from Arkansas answered…2wks2W

I would feel safer in that workplace because these guidelines promote safe environments to be yourself in and be able to be respected in your identity.

 @9LZCNCN from Texas disagreed…2wks2W

This will allow liberals to punish people who don't belive in things like pronouns. Also, I don't want perverted men in dresses in the women's bathroom

 @9LYWC9L from Texas answered…2wks2W

I feel like its dumb to change things bast off someones sexuality because its not harming anyone
